I can’t believe October is almost over! October is one of my favorite months of the year. I love all the colors, the food, and getting bundled up in my favorite cozy sweaters. Last weekend we went to my parents house which is nestled in a small town outside of the city. It is the perfect place to partake in all the season’s festive activities. We headed to a pumpkin patch on Saturday and despite the crazy wind we did what we came to do – pick up our pumpkins, eat candy apples, and sip on hot chocolate while taking in the beautiful views of countryside. It is always so nice to get away from the city from time to time and enjoy the peace and quiet.

My wardrobe is pretty simple these days but I still like to look somewhat fashionable on the weekends. I have had this sweater for years but I keep pulling it out year after year because it is so comfy and goes perfectly with leggings and skinny jeans alike. I recently picked up these Levi’s Wedgie Icon Jeans during Shopbop’s sale a few weeks ago and I’m in love. They are pretty high-waisting and very “mom-jean-esque” but they go perfectly with flow-y tops such as this. I am also obsessed with the frayed hem which is a trend I have been loving this season. It is a subtle yet different take on your typical denim.

Happy Weekend!

TGIF!!! I am super excited for the weekend to be here because we will be heading to the suburbs to do fun fall activities with my parents. I am basically going to check everything off of my fall to-do list. We will go for a hike, check out a winery, make all the pumpkin recipes we can get our hands on, and watch a scary movie while sipping on some pumpkin beers and spiked mulled cider. It is going to be pretty amazing. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the weekend.

Hope you have a great weekend friends!

I am so excited to finally blog about a fall outfit for a change. Fall is my favorite season for fashion for obvious reasons. The weather is crisp this time of year and the trees are to die for with their gorgeous colors and all. I get so giddy to partake in all my favorite fall activities so of course dressing the part is necessary.

This outfit is a timeless and classic look for fall that will never go out of style. A blazer will forever be one of my favorite items in my closet. It is so timeless and can make an otherwise boring outfit appear more put together and polished. Since a blazer can come across as more stiff and preppy, I love to pair mine with a casual tee like this one from Free People (which is so comfy btw) and my favorite denim. I recently purchased these Sam Edelman booties from Nordstrom (currently on sale!) and I haven’t taken them off. They are the perfect brown leather that will go with any jeans and dresses. They are also super comfortable!

What are your go-to items for fall?
