Hi guys! Hope you had a nice weekend. We stayed in which was nice after a busy past few weeks. It was the perfect time to get back to our normal routine now that the holidays are past us. We had a wine and cheese night on Friday night, spent a lot of time getting our apartment in order, and watched a few movies. What else is one to do in the winter time? I am looking forward to keeping it low key for the next few weekends until my big race in February.
So we all know it is pretty hard to get all dolled up this time of year given the bitter cold weather but since it isn’t socially acceptable to wear pajamas all the time we have to find a way to look put together. I would wear this look to work or on a date night in the city. This blazer is the perfect way to look polished in chillier weather. I am also a sucker for scarves for not only the warmth factor but also because it adds a hint of chic – don’t you think? I snagged these jeans during Shopbop’s fall sale a few months ago because I really needed an upgraded black skinny jean given my old pair was starting fade. They are super comfortable, not to mention flattering, and go with all my winter jackets, sweaters, and boots. Also, these Marc Fisher boots are probably my proudest sale purchase at Bloomingdales this past fall. They were just what I was looking for – a sleek and simple black boot that could easy go with anything (win)!
Here’s to a good week ahead of us!
