I don’t really change up my skincare and makeup routine often but every once in a while I like to make a little tweak here and there. When it comes to skincare and hair care I typically look for new products when my skin or hair needs help! I typically change up a my makeup and fragrance products when I’m bored haha.
The products I picked are all random…2 masks and a toner because my post-summer skin needs a little love. Also clearly I’m obsessing over fall lip color because 4 of the products below are lip products. A volumizing hair product for the quick pick me up my hair needs for a night out. Last, I found a fresh new scent I love for fall. I’ve really been into changing up my fragrance each season to set the mood.
Indie Lee Clearing Mask – I’ve alluded to the fact that I’ve been getting breakouts this summer in this post. The humidity and my hormones combined were not a match made in heaven. I’ve known about Indie Lee for a while now but bought this mask on a whim a few weeks ago. I immediately saw results when I first used this mask so I knew it was a win. Blemishes shrink and go away A LOT quicker. It also leaves your skin feeling soft, clean, and not dry at all. I highly recommend this product for those who tend to break out but it’s also great for those looking for a nice detox mask. It gets rid of all the dirt/oil on your face and leaves you feeling refreshed! It was this product that lead me to buy the toner…more on this next!
Indie Lee Toner – I heard this is the gateway product to the Indie Lee brand and I’m always looking for a gentle way to remove the remainder of my makeup off my skin after I cleanse. First of all it smells so refreshing! I love how gentle it is on my skin which tends to be sensitive to harsh toners. All in all I’m happy with how it keeps my skin clean and my pores small. So far, no big breakouts since using my Indie Lee products.
Dermalogica Multivitamin Recovery Mask – I discovered this product a few years ago when I got a sample from the brand. This is one of those masks that resets your skin which is why I love using it on Sundays. I typically use it when my skin is feeling uneven or dull…basically needing a pick me up. I also think it’s a great mask to use post sun exposure. I really like how even my skin looks after using it. Definitely recommend this one!
Hourglass Confessions Lipstick in Secretly – I went into the store asking for a good red lip color. I’ve always wanted a good one that didn’t make me look like a clown and I think I found a winner. I also love the formula of this lipstick – very hydrating and long-lasting staying power. A win, win!
Lune+Aster Vitamin C+E Lip Gloss in CEO – I don’t consider myself a big lip gloss girl but I really like the mauve color in this hydrating formula. It’s great for this moments you want to show a little bit of color on the lips but in a subtle way. I love this for everyday wear in the fall.
Nars Audacious Lipstick in Barbara – I’ve always been a fan of Nar’s Audacious lip line because of the hydrating matte formula that lasts. I have the color Anita which is a pretty deep rose color (I’m wearing it in this post) and I was looking for more of a nude color for work and everyday which led me to by Barbara. It will be my go-to lip color all of fall!
Oribe Thick Dry Finishing Spray – As I mentioned above, I was in need of a good volumizing spray to give my hair life after it falls flat. Now, I am still a fan of Oribe’s cult favorite Dry Texturizing Spray and now I love the Dry Thickening Spray too because it gives it a nice your hair a nice little lifted tousled look when your hair is feeling flat after a long day. It gives you that messy yet sexy look.
Aerin Amber Musk – I was in the mood to get a new scent to start getting excited for fall even when the weather still feels like summer. This beachy scent was my favorite for summer and now I picked up this new creamy musky scent from Aerin. I love a musky scent in the fall and winter! It feels more romantic and tomboy at the same time which I feel represents my fashion style too. I would say this scent is more creamy and vanilla/coconut-like than musky. The musk makes it less sweet. Overall a very inviting scent that makes you feel the warmth of fall on your skin.
