There are 6 beauty trends that I have been incorporating into my routine as of late. I try not to get too dramatic when it comes to makeup since I like to keep my look pretty simple. These 6 products have freshened up my look in subtle ways.
#1 Peach and Taupe Hues: I have mentioned before that I am a huge fan of Trish McEvoy products. I have an eye shadow set that has the perfect updated fall palette. I use Trish McEvoy Glaze Eyeshadow in Cream to highlight the brow bone, White Peach on the lower lid to add a neutral base, and little bit of Tawny in the crease to create more depth to my eyes. I also LOVE Trish McEvoy’s Lash Enhancing Liquid Liner Pen because it is super easy to create a thin line above your lashes and it immediately brightens up your eyes. I have also been using Trish McEvoy’s High Volume Mascara – the wand makes it super easy to reach all lashes and doesn’t cause any clumping.
#2 Defined Eye Brows: It is all about a bold eyebrow to really add a flattering shape to your face. I have been loving Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil to add a little more shape to my barely there blonde eye brows.
#3 Glowing Skin: The best way to get a quick glow to your face is with a great luminizer. I have been putting RMS Living Luminizer on my high checkbones, above my eyebrow, and the tip of my nose (basically wherever natural light hits your face). It isn’t too shiny and makes your skin look amazing!
#4 Nude Lip Color: I love to wear lipsticks during the fall and winter months because they add color to my face when my skin is on the fairer side. Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Color in Pink Nude is a great formula that lasts for a long period of time. I generally prefer matte lipsticks because they make a bolder statement and don’t rub off throughout the day.
#5 Healthy Blowout: When I leave myself enough to time to blow dry my hair in the mornings, I love to use a protective hair balm that gives my hair hydration and shine. Bumble and Bumble’s Repair Blow Dry came out last year and it is a keeper! I put it on damp hair and then style with a flat or round brush. It leaves my hair incredibly soft yet still adds a healthy bounce to it. HIGHLY recommend (especially for those with dry or frequently colored hair)!
#6 Deep Red and Pink Nail Polish: I try to do my own nails every weekend and of course I have started to pull out my darker shades. Lately, Essie Bordeaux and Essie Angora Cardi have been on repeat. Does anyone else make their nail polish decision based on their names?
