Tularosa Dress in Rosemary Beach

February 23, 2018

Dress: Tularosa, Sandals: Soludos, Bag: Free People

Happy Friday! Oh boy am I glad it was a short week and now we have two days off ahead of us. It’s always hard coming back from a nice little vacation isn’t it? Although this time around I came back feeling refreshed which is always nice. What do you have going on his weekend? We don’t have too much planned although my family is getting together to celebrate my dog’s birthday haha. Yeah, we are THAT family but I’m definitely looking forward to it.

These pics were taken on our last night in Rosemary Beach. We went to a place called George’s for dinner which we all agreed wasn’t worth the price but it was nice to have an excuse to get all dressed up! I’m wearing this Tularosa dress that I was skeptical about at first when I bought it but I ended up really loving it on. It shows a little more skin than I’m used to but I’m ok with that every once in a while. The style is also really flattering but comfortable too and I always love a good blue/white printed beach dress. It was colder at night while we watched the best sunset of the weekend and it easily paired with favorite denim jacket. I love the Tularosa brand for vacation clothes. I bought this dress, this dress, and this dress for our honeymoon a little while back. I still wear all of them to this day! I spotted a few more favorites from the brand below so be sure to check them out 🙂

I’ll be sharing a little more photos of our trip on Monday to give you more of a sense of the area. I always take a lot more pictures on my phone so be sure to check back on Monday for that post. I can’t believe it’s already March next week. Where has the time gone? Have a great weekend friends!!

Spell & the Gypsy Collective Dress in Rosemary Beach

February 21, 2018

Dress: Spell and the Gypsy Collective (off the shoulder version on sale here) I also love this light green/pink print and this indigo maxi, Sandals: Soludos Bag: Free People

Hello friends! I’m taking you back to what I wore on our first night in Rosemary Beach! I just want to start of by saying how much we loved Rosemary Beach. It is located on the panhandle of the gulf coast of Florida. It is an easy direct flight from Atlanta (although we connected in from DC). The town itself is absolutely a dream! The neighborhood is filled with cute homes (the architecture reminded me a little of New Orleans) with alleyways, a cute downtown, and is within close proximity to the white sand beaches. I also loved the southern/laid-back vibes of the culture there. Later I’ll be sharing a mix up op what we did, where we went, and what we ate soon.

Today I wanted to talk about the Spell & the Gypsy Collective brand! I’ve been a fan of this beachy Australian brand for about a year now. I wore this dress in Cancun last year and later picked up this dress for our trip to Nice. My favorite part of their collections is the unique and vibrant prints. They elicit the epitome of sunny beach days. The fabric they use is also SO comfortable. I love feeling fashionable yet still super comfortable at the same time. I link a few more favorites from the brand below! I also picked up this straw clutch from Free People and these Soludos wedges as they both went perfectly with just about everything I wore at night. I definitely recommend picking them up if you have a beach vacation coming up soon!

Bright Colors in Nice

September 29, 2017

Outfit Details – Dress: Spell & the Gypsy Collective ON SALE! (a long sleeve version here, short version here, love this and this dress for fall!), Jacket: H&M ON SALE! Bag: Lo & Sons Sandals: Steven (sold out)

I feel like I should be posting about fall outfits (more on that coming next week on the blog!) but I HAD to share these photos from our second night in Nice, France. It was our anniversary night and we had so much fun! We started our night enjoying spritzes at the terrace of the Hyatt Hotel enjoying the beautiful view of the water. One of my favorite thing to do in the whole world is enjoy a drink or a meal with a view of the ocean. Next we headed to Cafe de Turin for the BEST seafood platter we have ever had. It was actually Brett’s heaven on earth. If you enjoy seafood as much as we do you, you need to check this place out!

I bought this dress over the summer intending to wear it for my birthday but opted to take it along with me on our trip. The colors of the dress pretty much matched the colors of the vibrant and bright buildings of Nice. I am SO obsessed with the brand Spell & the Gypsy Collective. All of the prints are gorgeous! I love their dresses for summer but they have been coming out with some great fall/winter prints like this and this dress. I always enjoy bringing out my “inner-boho” girl and these dresses make me like such a happy hippie!

Also – this jean jacket from H&M was something I picked up right before our trip when I realized how chilly it could get in Nice. It is such a great staple item to have in your wardrobe between seasons. I can’t tell you how much I wore it on my trip and have continued to wear it since our trip. Also – the $24 price-tag just can’t be beat!

After 4 weekends of being away we are finally spending this weekend at home. Both Brett and I are pretty excited to just take it easy, cook-in, and just be lazy. I haven’t taken advantage of all the “fall things” out there so we are probably going to try to cook up some pumpkin recipes. I can’t wait!

Have a great weekend everyone!
