My first job out of college was working at one of the beautiful Ralph Lauren stores. If you are as fashion obsessed as me, you would appreciate how stunning their stores are. Ralph Lauren will forever be my favorite designer for creating such timeless pieces that will never go out of style (and last forever). This jacket was one of my first jackets I bought while working there and from then on I was hooked. I love the neutral color and it seriously fits like a glove. I love to pair it with jeans and a scarf or wear it to work with a narrow navy blue pant and flats.

Happy Friday! Does any one have any fun plans for Halloween?? We have already started getting in the Halloween spirit by watching the first two Halloween movies this week (which we somehow found to be more comical than scary). We also went to our favorite restaurant last night because they were having a pumpkin tap takeover and I went home with some cider donuts (no shame, I ate them when I got home). I will most likely be staying in, watching a scary movie, baking something sweet, and testing out some more of the pumpkin beers I have in my fridge (I plan on writing a pumpkin beer review next week so stay tuned!).
Happy weekend everyone!
Does anyone else make an ongoing wishlist of products you dream of adding to your wardrobe? Well I do. Fall always inspires me to reevaluate what I have in my closet and what could use an upgrade. We have been lucky enough to be getting such beautiful fall weather with mild temperatures in the 50s and 60s but I know the bitter cold is just around the corner.
Once Thanksgiving rolls around, the weather can get down in the 40s so having comfortable shoes that will keep you warm is key. I tried these boots on last weekend at Nordstroms and fell in love with their sleekness. They come in dark brown which is a color I have been on the hunt for. I also love a good flat for work and these Jack Rogers Tassel Loafers are super cute. Also, how fun are these Loeffler Randall flats!?
Last year, I pretty much outwore my favorite turtleneck (last seen here), so this olive green SOH turtleneck paired with these skinnies and this cable knit dress from Club Monaco would be great new additions to my wardrobe. I am also thinking a new coat might be in order and this grey collarless mohair jacket from Zara would be perfect.
A few new accessories here and there are a sure way to add more variety to your standard sweaters and jackets. This fun red Elizabeth and James cross-body bag would add a pretty pop of color to a simple black wool coat. These sleek shades are a great way to add subtle chicness to crisp outerwear pieces. If I want make my dusty old sweater feel current, I’ll wear a thick new scarf such as this cozy plaid one from Sole Society. These Baublebar earrings would add just the right amount of sparkle to my chambray and plaid button ups. If all else fails, I love swiping on a fun raspberry lip color to add a little pizzazz to my look.
