Just a few photos to put a smile on your face this Sunday. Hope you have a good one!
With the change in seasons especially come fall – I love to make a few tweaks to my beauty routine. As my summer tan starts to fade and as my skin starts change it’s only necessary to make a few updates. When I think of what new beauty products I need it typically means updating my foundation formula and color, getting a softer bronzer, finding a more pigmented rosy blush, using warmer toned eye shadows, and grabbing a new go-to nude lip. By the time I make a list of these things I need I realize two things: 1. even more of my beauty items need a replenishment like my concealer or mascara and 2. this is going to be pricey! Enter the the Trish Planner.
If you haven’t heard of this beautiful product before – it is a portable makeup set that includes a complete makeup look (minus foundation). Every planner comes with an eye base primer, the instant eye lift (concealer and a personal favorite), blush, bronzer, setting powder, eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, and a lip color. The packaging itself makes it very easy to organize your makeup and take with you on the go for trips or just getting ready in the car. It typically runs at a $600+ value but you can get it for a fraction of the price (they typically run between $175-$250). The planner I’m showing is $250.
The amount of makeup you get and the QUALITY of these products are SO GOOD. Ever since I sat my butt down at a makeup counter and let a Trish rep work their magic, I’ve been a total fan of the brand ever since. I love the results and how natural the makeup looks on my face. You don’t need a lot of makeup to look and feel your best and the planners make it so easy. Trust me. Most of the items in the products in the planner last a long time too. I typically only find myself needing to replenish the eye base primer and the instant eye lift which are my two favorite products.
I shared a very casual video that I did this morning on my Instagram TV channel later today so you can learn how to apply each product in the planner. It is very raw and I decided to do it quickly as I got ready this morning so it’s definitely not professional by any means!
PS: If you are looking for new foundation this foundation is a great full coverage formula that is very lightweight (perfect for an event) and this tinted moisturizer is fantastic for lighter coverage making it great for daytime. I also love this brow product to naturally fill in your brow shape. Her skincare products are also favorites of mine. I really love her eye serum and beauty booster serum that contains 30% hyaluronic acid and peptides – both optimal ingredients for plumping and hydration.

It’s officially THE time to get your house dressed up for fall! Every year I love heading to my local Michaels to pick up a few new items to add to my fall decor collection. Since we moved to a bigger space I jumped at the opportunity to add a few more fake pumpkins and my favorite candles to our tables. I picked up this Apple Cider scent from Anthropologie this year but I still love my all time favorite pumpkin chai scent.
This year I really want to add pretty wreath and an inviting doormat for our front door along with a few pumpkins that we’ll pick up from the pumpkin patch next weekend. A few more things I’d like to add is this warm and cozy plaid blanket, this charger for when we have company over, and these lanterns for our family room. What do you like to decorate your house with for fall?
