Hi guys! It’s hard to believe we’re in the last week of January. A month spent in the cold is enough to make you yearn for Spring. We may have a ways to go on the weather front but I’m finding ways to slowly transition my wardrobe in anticipation of the Spring. I’m also going to take the month of February to re-style classic wear now and wear later pieces. I also want to show you why it’s 100% necessary to buy the pieces you will get a lot of use out of by way of ether styling them multiple ways and/or never going out of style.
Today’s post is all about the classic navy blazer. I think I first started my love affair of a clean navy blazer from the Olsen twins many years ago. Did anyone else obsess over their style? I always felt their style was so simple, effortless, and chic. I loved the way they would throw on a navy blazer over a pair of worn in skinny jeans, a simple tee shirt and be good to go. This is how I envision the best way to wear a blazer with a ragged denim and a simple knit. I styled my blazer with a sweater now but would pair it with a white tee for spring weather. I wore my favorite pair of medium wash denim jeans but would pair them with a lighter colored wash like these for spring. Boots are necessary for winter outfits but I would opt for a sneaker for warmer temperatures. You can see where I last styled this blazer for spring here.
