Hi there! How was your weekend? We took the train up to Long Island to visit friends this weekend and had the best time! Since the weather still feels like summer, we went to The Wolffer Estate Vineyard on Saturday morning and later walked around some shops in Southhampton. We popped into the Beverly Hills housewife Kyle Richard’s store and I bought the cutest top. Neither Brett or I had been to the Hamptons before and it was a dream to be able to check it out!
I am continuing to take you along our my France journey to Antibes, France. On our second day, we hopped on the train to Antibes and checked out the marina and old town. We loved walking around the town and checking out the local shops, restaurants, and the market. All of the towns in the South of France have markets where local vendors sell various products. We didn’t pick anything up but enjoyed looking at all of the fresh jams, olives, cheeses, and meats.
Old town Antibes is so cute! We aimlessly wandered around different street corners with nowhere in mind to go – just snapping pics as we discovered a pretty street or cafe. It is fun to get lost in the cute towns in the South of France. There is always a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered – like where we ended up eating lunch! We snagged a delightful seat outside – perfect for people watching – at Le Don Juan. We ordered the calamari (the highlight of the whole meal) as a starter. It was lightly fried and extra fresh. My mouth is watering just thinking about it – why do I love food so much? Brett ordered the beef and I ordered the gnocchi as our main dishes – so delicious! I would highly recommend this place.
I got this dress specifically to wear for our 1 year anniversary – which was this day that we found ourselves in Antibes. It is the cutest little dress for summertime and wandering around France.
